Hi, I'm Meeker! I'm very nervous in the shelter environment because I'm used to a house and a couch. Because of One of A Kind Pet Rescue, I found a home as a tiny puppy but, now, five years later, I had to come back here – through no fault of my own - because my owner became terminally ill. I was so loved. When I was returned to the shelter, I came back with several bags of my personal belongings – including my favorite rain coat. Because I was cared for so well, you can only imagine just how distraught I am today. If you're looking for a dog that's already house-trained and mature, I'm your boy. If you come visit me, it may take me a few minutes for me to warm up, but only because I'm very concerned about my future. Once I warm up, I'm a very sweet and loving boy. I get along with other dogs as long as there are no toys around - because I don't like another dog stealing from me. Please don’t misunderstand, when there are no toys around, I love the company of fellow dogs. And, I dream of being in a home again with a couch and a family to love. Come visit me, I'll be here waiting for you but hopefully not for long! Might you be my new forever home and family? :)
Hi there! I'm Ricky :) I can't wait to meet you! I love people. I'm a very happy dog, and for the most part I'm confident, but I'd be even more confident once I found a comfortable home. I've had it rough, but I'm so lucky I came across One of a Kind Pets because they cured my dermatitis and I feel so much better! Most of my hair has grown back beautifully... my backside is a little thin and they're not sure if that will get any thicker but I don't care, it reminds me of how far I've come :)
