It's National Ding-a-Ling Day!

According to a survey by David's Bridal, approximately 7500 couples will walk down the aisle today: 12-12-12. The date is so popular across the globe because it is a once-in-a-century wedding date.
 

Facebook did a study last year that showed that the two weeks leading up to Christmas (right now!) was the most popular time for couples to break up. Basically, they examined changes in users' relationship status around holiday time.

Barbara Walters' Most Fascinating People of 2012 special airs on ABC tonight.

Lilo facing 8 months in jail for latest violations.  Good chance she'll get it.

Jennifer Lawrence is the most desirable woman in the world, according to Ask Men. Mila Kunis came in second, followed by Kate Upton, Rihanna, Emma Stone, Miranda Kerr and Kristen Stewart.


The Chinese seem to be in a panic, preparing for the end of the world – which is going to happen on December 21st. Maybe. As a result of the Chinese panicking, there is now a shortage of candles in parts of the country.  Because the Mayans wrote that the apocalypse will bring along with it three days of darkness, the Chinese want to be prepared.


Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” (number-two), Dwight Yoakam’s “Heart Like Mine” and Kacey Musgraves’ “Merry Go ‘Round” are the only country songs on Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Songs of 2012 list.
