According to a new study, on any given day in the United States, 18 percent of men and 11 percent of women drink more alcohol than federal guidelines recommend.

On Monday, the Wall Street Journal ran an article about the bewildering fall of JC Penney. One thing new management learned as they worked on a resuscitation plan was that the JCP headquarters had grown overstaffed and underproductive. Monday February 25th

If you didn’t stay up for the Oscars, the some highlights:  Argo won Best Picture.  Life Of Pi’s Ang Lee was best Director, plus tons of technical awards.  Daniel Day Lewis: best actor for Lincoln and Jennifer Lawrence best actress for Silver Linings Playbook. Poor Jen tripped as she went up the steps and received an ovation either for the award, or the fall! Seth MacFarlane was pretty good with a music heavy song and dance open and a few skits with sock puppets and Sally Field.

Also this weekend the Daytona 500 Winner was Jimmy Johnson.  And Danica Patrick finished 8th, and ran near the front all day long. She was in the lead for a bit, then 3^rd by the last lap and then finished 8th

The announcements for the line-up for Dancing in the Stars are tomorrow, but there have been leaks.  Word is:  Killie Pickler and Wynonna. 

You probably knew on instinct that women talk more than men. But now there’s a study that backs it up. New studies show that women have higher levels of “language protein” in our brains then men do. This language protein causes us to speak around 13,000 more words a day than men (20,000 vs 7,000).
