Meet Sage. She is one beautiful boxer! Maybe that's why she seems to have had so many litters of puppies in her past, but that's all over for her now! Did you know that approximately 25% of all dogs and puppies in a shelter will be purebred or of a designer breed? Yep ... crazy isn't it! This is because people purchase pets and then, often, lose their commitment to be a "pet parent." This is not uncommon in higher socioeconomic situations where the larger sum of money to purchase the pet wasn't a factor and pets are viewed as disposable. Let's change this for these deserving pets. Sage is sweet and lovable; she will do great in any home. She has an energy for life and is very happy. She hasn't had any "accidents" in her cage, and goes pottie right away when taken outside. That's not to say she wouldn't have any accidents in a new environment, but she would be easily trained when dealt with patience and kindness.
