My name is Bella and I'm a BIG puppy and I have the typical appeal that all dogs have ... soft fur, sweet eyes, irresistible ears and because of my age, some very, very needy behaviors :). Hey, you may as well know it up front ... I'm a younger dog that hasn't had any training and I will appear to be unaware of what you want from me. Initially, I may be a bit of work because of my young-energy but I'm worth it. Please don't think of putting me in a cage for 10 hours a day because that just won't work - not for you or for me. And, please don't chain me up to live outside for my lifetime because that kind of life is not in my plans. Keep in mind, I am a social animal - all dogs are - and that would lead to a very lonely existence! Because of my growing maturity, one might say teenage dogs learn fast and aim to please and living among you and your family is the fastest way to master good behaviors. Your home would be my dream come true! Then, we can find some balls, figure out a walking route, check out a few dog parks, and begin our life together. Note: Please keep in mind that all adoptable pets need time to decompress once they enter a home. For some it will happen quickly and for others it might take a few weeks. You'll want to be understanding of what they have been through and their level of insecurity. We ask that you treat all of them as if they were an 8 week old puppy. Assume they know nothing and begin at step one. You'll soon know what they are capable of and what behaviors you will need to “kindly” work on with your new family member. It's called commitment! And, that's what these pets want more than anything!
