The new Disney movie Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is the quintessential modern family movie. And amazingly, it's not animated.
When a movie is being made and formulated, it has to clear many steps along the way. Somehow, the new, Left Behind made it past all roadblocks - and clear thinking to make it to the big screen.

I grew up in Berea, which is the home of the Cleveland Browns. As a kid I used to go watch them practice at their facility on the Baldwin Wallace campus. I have been a lifelong Browns fan. Even when I moved away for 20 years in various radio markets doing morning shows, I was still a huge fan. Same with the Cav's and Tribe. And still am.
You can tell that the weather has changed, kids are back in school and fall is in the air. As a result of all of this, the mood has changed at the movies as the adult movies are here.
The new nostalgic drama Boyhood is a small Indy flick that has been around for a few weeks now, with some nice success. This is an award winner, and has enjoyed wonderful critical reviews in very limited release.
