Wednesday was the Summer solstice…the longest day of the year. Around here, sunset was just after 9:00 after a sunrise just before 6:00. These next couple days the sun will continue to set late like that and then start to get earlier until four days before Christmas!!! 🙁 I always say June 21st is one of my least favorite days of the year for that reason – I LOVE late sunsets.

I chose the picture for this blog because it reminds me a lot of a sunset along the shores of Lake Erie which are AMAZING!!! To me, it’s a shame the latest sunsets of the year are so early in the Summer. Either way, find ways to enjoy your Summer!
