This song originally by Brooks And Dunn was a smash with fans and on the charts.  It was a multiple award winner and struck a chord with about everyone that heard it.  Over time songs can fade, but it doesn’t mean we don’t still love them.  The original version was perfect.  This is even better.  Using Jelly Roll as their duet partner on this song was genius as his style and story add even more to this incredibly powerful story.  I also love the updated musical track and backing vocals, and I’m not bothered by the extended length of almost 5 minutes. We are all reminded just how great Brooks And Dunn are, and how wonderful Ronnie Dunn’s vocals still are. If you’ve forgotten about this song for the most part, as it has been 20 years  –  forget no more.  Sensational!
