As you may know, Alan Jackson is one if not my favorite…  Would definitely be front and center on my Mt. Rushmore.

Jackson is on his Last Call Tour which wraps up in May.  He will mix in a TV Special, which he is not usual…  Blake Shelton will be hosting the special “Opry 100: A Live Celebration” on March 19th…  

For me, I still believe there will be a comeback tour for this legend.  Although who knows I love the fact he is going out his way on his own terms!  

The one below is one of my favorites of his….there are so many and the list is long…  But as Alan is going to relax a bit a number of stores and businesses are going away as well.  Hudson based Joann Fabric is out like many over reached conglomerates to mom-and-pop shops alike are feeling the pain.  Brick and Mortar especially has been feeling it for many years. 

So if you are able visit your local stores/shops/tastee freezes (summer is coming) and keep them in business and neighbors/community members employed.  WQMX is Live and Local and we don’t mind hangin’ our hats on that.  Turn us on or download the WQMX App while driving/walking/frequenting these local establishments.  We would sure appreciate it.  Support the little man.  I remember one of my favorite artists sang about that!   I hope this isn’t him ridin’ off into the sunset in May.  Maybe just getting a new business plan in order.  Either way cheers Alan and thank you for the songs and memories.  Love you did it your way.
