As you may know, my cat Buttercup is diabetic. Therefore he is on a special diet and has been for several months now. Well, sitting in my kitchen has been some food that I had bought for him that he is no longer able to eat – so this afternoon I took it over to the Summit County Humane Society and donated it to them.
That way, I can feel great that it won’t go to waste and we will help feed shelter cats as they wait for their furever home. Whether it’s the Summit County Humane Society or another rescue facility in the area closer to your home, please consider looking up what donations they are in need of and helping out if you can. Whether it is food like my case, or a monetary donation. Anything helps.
