Every now and again, a song shows up that you know is going to places that most don’t.  The new Scotty McCreery song, Bottle Rockets is one of those songs.  Plus, many times timing is everything as well.  It’s all coming together with this gem of a summer country song.   Scotty McCreery is sounding really good these says too.

This is a collab with Hootie And The Blowfish (Darius Rucker) and full disclosure, many times I am not overly enamored with these type of releases.  The borrowing of other material that blends in with a newer melody and they mash it up.  But this is done perfectly and the blending is right on the m0ney.  And there’s a reason to do it, and to me that’s the main difference.  To my ear, it’s not just used for lack of an original idea.

This song takes us back to a different time in all of our lives and many times that can make us feel romantic about a simpler and more carefree time in our lives.  This is a fantastic song, and it does just that.   Great vibes!
