Yesterday, the historic Ryman Auditorium unveiled its newest statue. This time it’s of country music legend George Jones.
The statue is a part of their outdoor Icon Walk. And George Jones joins the statues of Charlie Pride, Loretta Lynn, Bill Monroe, and Little Jimmy Dickens.
George’s widow, Nancy, claimed the Ryman was the only place she never worried about her husband working at because he never drank there.
