Meet Ruby

Ruby is an older gal (maybe 9 years) with a heart of gold who’s just waiting for her perfect match in her “golden years.” She’s a mix-breed girl and medium in size (43 pounds), which is the best kind in our book. She was adopted at Summit County’s August adoption event, but sadly her new family realized they weren’t ready for a dog, after all. So she’s been returned to the chaotic shelter through no fault of her own. Of course, we welcomed Ruby back with open arms because we know the right person is out there for her. Where are our senior lovers?

Ruby is housebroken – though she may just need a quick refresher in a new home – and already knows all her basic commands, even “speak”! This sweet lady has been through enough and truly deserves a forever home to call her own.

Can you give Ruby the opportunity she’s been waiting for? You’ll definitely find your next best friend.
