Conner Smith Talks Smoky Mountains
It's been five years since Conner Smith signed his record deal, and he did a lot of growing up while making his debut album. He believes that Smoky Mountains tells that story. "It really does capture the story I wanted to tell, which is the story of growing up and figuring out who I am and the heartbreak and love of the last two years from signing a record deal at 18 to becoming a man over the last five years. I really tried to make an album that encompassed some of that and kinda had every song tell a different side of the story."
Conner will make the TV debut of the fist single from the album "Creek Will Rise" this Wednesday on TODAY with Hoda and Jenna. Set your DVR!

It's Scotty McCreery Day!
The day is finally here, Scotty McCreery at the Dusty Armadillo! SOLD OUT charity show benefiting WQMX's Bosom Buddies, we are so thankful to you for selling out this show and helping us raise money for charity! I thought it would be fun to celebrate by playing a new song from Scotty, one that he posted a portion of on this socials. Oh and he wrote it for his upcoming album, we'll keep you posted! It's called "Can't Pass The Bar" and it is such a fun song!

Soup Season: Vegetable Beef
Saturday was a good day for soup! I had a good amount of leftover roast beef and after we made open faced roast beef sandwiches, we still had enough leftover for another meal. So what to make? Soup of course! And it was nice because I used what we already had on hand so there was no waste and no trip to the store!
Recycle Your Lights!
I feel like the Christmas season went very fast this year. As quickly as I put trees up and decorated, I wasn't as quick to put everything away. But now it's time, and it's also time to do something with the lights that no longer work. I discovered quite a few strands as I was starting to decorate, I set those aside at the time, but now I have to do something with them. I tried changing out fuses, but that never works for me, so I saved the bulbs that I know work and am taking what's left to be recycled. I found out that Summit e-Waste Recycling Solutions takes them and they have bins located all over Summit County and that makes it super easy and convenient. Click here to find a bin near you!
