After the holidays, winter is just winter. Snow and early sunsets, but we don’t have alligators. I shared a meme last night on my Instagram that was shared the day before, for story purposes that is Monday, January 6th, that basically said, in 70 days the sun will set at 7pm. 12 hours after I shared it, I decided to research how factual that statement is. Hey, better late than never.
It’s kind of true.
The sun will never set at exactly 7pm but in 60 days it will set after 7pm. On March 8th the sun sets at 6:25pm and then we spring forward on March 9th and the sun will set at 7:26pm. My data was provided by timeanddate.com by the way, I feel that it is very important when talking about science to state your sources.
In conclusion, we still have something to look forward to.
