This Saturday is my cat Buttercup’s “Gotcha Day”! It was on July 17, 2019 that I came home from work and saw him on my front steps.

I went inside, grabbed my ex who brought some cat food and water and we went outside. We coaxed Buttercup out and he ate and drank his heart out. Then we spent about an hour sitting in the backyard with him. Then it was time to go inside. The next afternoon, Buttercup was in the backyard so we picked him up and brought him inside.

We took him to the vet to get checked out – he had no chip and we put up signs around the neighborhood and online – but nothing. So, we officially adopted him on July 19, 2019. We think he was about 2 years old at the time so Buttercup MAY be celebrating birthday number 8 this year. He is a cuddle bug. He is a loud mouth (he doesn’t shut up! lol). He is so people friendly. He is my Buttercup. We all love him!
