With the snow over the weekend, I was able to do something I have not been able to do since buying my snow blower over 2 years ago…USE IT!

That’s right, after the 2 huge snow storms of 1 foot of snow a few years ago, I thought I would invest in a snow blower. Great idea right?! Well, yes. Except since then, we have been lacking snow! So this $1,000 investment has been sitting in my garage collecting dust for 2 years until Saturday. I was FINALLY able to break it out and use it.

Now, I have a gravel driveway, so I have to be quite careful how I blow the snow. I have to be sure I keep the auger up high enough so I don’t start throwing stones along with the snow! But I think I did a good jobv of that this weekend, and it did a pretty decent job on my driveway. I really do hope though this is an investment I don’t have to use often.
