I took Saturday afternoon and spent the day at the Metroparks Zoo. It was a very nice day to spend outside! The animals were out, active and also saw a lot of construction going on at the Rainforest as they transform that into Primate Forest with a 100% completion date expected for 2032 – cannot wait!

We were lucky enough to see the baby Giraffe! – Literally just about 9 days old! We also saw a young Sloth Bear – about 9 months old, and the young Gorillas were having the time of their lives chasing each other. The babies were so cute!

Spend the day at either local zoo if you are looking for something to do outside! It’s a great way to spend the day.
