Jake Owen likes upbeat songs...
Brantley Gilbert is giving back...

Jake Owen has some heartbreak tunes and some set-the-moods songs, but he prefers to record tunes that are upbeat, inspiring and positive.
He says, "I've always liked songs that seem to empower happiness, right? I just felt like by providing people with those types of soundtracks to their day-to-day life that can be happy is a lot more fun than providing them with sadness. There's enough of that going on in the world.

Brantley Gilbert is teaming up with Farmer Veteran Coalition to source local food for catering at the stops on his Fire't Up tour.
He says, “Our goal is to help boost local economies, showcase the best foods from the region, and spend a bit of time thanking these great folks for all they do.”
After the show, the food that is not used will be distributed to the needy in the area.
Brantley will be at the Covelli Center on February 28th.
