Rita Wilson to host Kenny Rogers special on CMT...
The CMT Music Awards postponed...

CMT has announced that actress, singer and songwriter Rita Wilson will host the upcoming CMT GIANTS Kenny Rogers: A Benefit for MusiCares.
The special is set to air this Wednesday at 8 p.m. on CMT and it will celebrate the life and music of Kenny Rogers through stories and songs from his peers and friends. The lineup includes Dolly Parton, Jennifer Nettles, Lady Antebellum, Lionel Richie, Michael McDonald, Randy Houser, Rascal Flatts, Vince Gill, members of Kenny's band and crew, and many more.
The special will also serve as a fundraiser for COVID-19 and Rita Wilson, who along with her husband Tom Hanks, is in recovery from the coronavirus.

The CMT Music Awards will be moved to October 14th. 
CMT says, "We look forward to celebrating country music’s biggest stars together with our community and viewers, we will continue to follow the guidance of the CDC and local public health officials."
The show was originally scheduled for June 3rd.
