Lady A loves their new single...
Thomas Rhett is back again at #1...

When Lady Antebellum appeared on this season's Songland, they thought they might come out of it with a song to record, but they didn't necessarily expect they'd get their next single.

Hillary Scott said, "I love the story of this song I love that Madeline Merlo got this big, huge chance to come on Songland and work with Shane McAnally, and that now we’re all celebrating the fact that this song got such a great response by the fans that it had to be the single."

Congratulations to Thomas Rhett and Jon Pardi. Their song “Beer Can't Fix” is number one this week. Thomas admits he usually writes about his life, but this song was actually inspired by compiling a series of hypothetical situations into a melody.
He said, "We were just like, 'Let's name all these situations where just maybe going out with your buddies and cracking open a cold beer maybe just takes your mind off of something for a second.' Whether you just got broken up with or you and your wife planned this perfect each trip to Cancun and it rains every single day, what are you gonna do except go to the bar and be like, 'Can I get a beer, please?'"
