Then on Monday, after a weekend of celebrating her birthday, she gave us the gift of the official announcement that she would be releasing a new song on Friday. That song is “Ghost Story”, which Carrie describes as “a different take on a revenge song” in a press release. “Instead of smashing headlights, this scorned lover is letting her ex know that she will continue to haunt him no matter how hard he tries to forget her.”
