Delicious Dish

Written by

My family makes Hot Chocolate Bombs.  Well I did not this year but my son, his friends and my wife did...

Every year, Margaret Jo McCullin and Terry Rialto come to mind.  You are probably like who are they?  They are Ana Gasteyer and Molly Shannon from SNL's Delicious Dish Sketch a holiday classic with Pete Sweaty.

These Christmas Cocoa Balls are a sign of the season in my house.  They are Chocolate Cocoa Bombs.  You place one in a hot cup of milk or water.

Then boom!!!  Let the fun begin.  They could be filled with cocoa powder, marshmallows, sprinkles, maybe butterscotch, peanut butter, caramel, or chocolate chips...

You may want a peppermint spoon, candy cane, fresh mint, cinnamon stick, cayenne (if you like a little heat with your sweet) as a garnish. (Add Bailey's if you are of age also.)

Let the chocolatey goodness begin.  They are messy, delicious and fun at the sametime.   If you have patience and the right temperature chocolate for molds.  Good luck!
