My Kitchen is FINISHED!!!!

Written by

We decided to redo our kitchen this year. It was so beyond time. We bought our house 8 years ago and there was carpet in our kitchen. The house was built in 1972 and the cabinets had door knockers on them. It may have been nice in the 1970s, but not so much today. We quickly got new flooring, but that was all we could afford at the time.

After some saving, it was time. We started with the cabinets. They were well-made and beautiful, so we just got them painted. This all started in February and my girl Terra- who was recommend by my parent's Realtor did an amazing job. Those door knockers are GONE! Byeeeeee!

I then went to Hartville Hardware- of course. They are lovely people, lovely to work with and just lovely all around. I was dealing with America's largest hardware store and I knew they would have everything I needed. Leslie, who helped me pick out everything is someone I may start sending a Christmas card to. She was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I was clueless and she just kept answering my questions and offering such great advice. I found out she has a pig named Kevin Bacon! She was the perfect person to work with!

American Countertops, Inc. was recommend by my parents handyman, that was recommended by Hartville Hardware! They are located in Hartville and they were also super easy to deal with and accommodating. They legit were in and out in half a day with the install.

This entire process took place during the pandemic and everyone, including myself was patient, understanding, and easy to work with ;) . It may have taken longer than expected as things were out of all our control, but in the end I am thrilled with the outcome. I find myself just standing in my kitchen staring! I feel like such a grown-up! Thank you to all!
