The idea of Random Acts of Kindness Day was actually started by a non-profit in 1995 in Colorado. It has spread all over the world since. RAK Day is always on February, 17th and then the RAK week is the week surrounding that day.

The concept is simple. You celebrate and encourage random acts of kindness. You pay it forward. You buy someone coffee, their lunch, pay for the person behind you in the drive-thru, open the door for someone, let someone go ahead of you in line, buy someone flowers, compliment someone, take a treat to work, let a car into traffic ahead of you, give a gift to someone for no reason, you get it!

So that is why this week we are randomly giving you prizes from random places and who knows how or when we will give em away?! Tune in and enjoy as we make it rain kindness!
