Sarah Kay
Sarah is the Co-host on Scott and Sarah in the Morning on 94.9 WQMX in Akron, Ohio. She was born and raised in Northeast, Ohio. She has been in the radio business since 2004 and been part of the WQMX team since 2008. Sarah graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and always knew she wanted to be on the radio.
With her love of country music, she became a part of the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music in 2015. Scott and Sarah in the Morning has been nominated for multiple CMA & ACM Medium Market Personality of the Year Awards, while the station was nominated and won an ACM for Medium Market Station of the Year in 2016.
Sarah loves the color pink, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland sports, spending time with family and friends and by far her most favorite country artist is Sugarland! She loves expressing herself with fun hats and head gear, so if you see her out and about with a cupcake or ice cream hat on- that’s just Sarah.

The first ever Cleveland Pickle Fest is coming next weekend! Mark your calendars for August 24th, North Coast Harbor from 12-5pm. Corey Kluber broke his right arm on May 1st when he was hit by a line drive and he is back at it tonight in Akron! He also pitched for a few innings in Columbus a few days ago. The corpse flower has finally bloomed again at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo! This flower has been at the zoo for 25 years and usually blooms every 7 to 10 years. It has been 7 years since this particular corpse flower bloomed. It gets its name from its pungent smell- like a corpse. Walgreen's announced they are closing 200 stores in the US to cut cost after a decline in income and sales.
