Sarah Kay
Sarah is the Co-host on Scott and Sarah in the Morning on 94.9 WQMX in Akron, Ohio. She was born and raised in Northeast, Ohio. She has been in the radio business since 2004 and been part of the WQMX team since 2008. Sarah graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and always knew she wanted to be on the radio.
With her love of country music, she became a part of the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music in 2015. Scott and Sarah in the Morning has been nominated for multiple CMA & ACM Medium Market Personality of the Year Awards, while the station was nominated and won an ACM for Medium Market Station of the Year in 2016.
Sarah loves the color pink, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland sports, spending time with family and friends and by far her most favorite country artist is Sugarland! She loves expressing herself with fun hats and head gear, so if you see her out and about with a cupcake or ice cream hat on- that’s just Sarah.

I am back at it! Low carbing and exercising and I found out that Marco’s Pizza is offering a Crustless Pizza Bowl! What??!!! You can get Meat, Deluxe or Garden- or if you are me you can make your own. What it is- pizza without the crust, baked and cheesy! It is soooooo good! I got sausage with banana peppers. It is saucy and cheesy and so good! I highly recommend this!
What is sorbet exactly? I found myself asking that question. We needed new patio furniture. We went and bought some, opened the two huge boxes for the the table and four chairs and had a rude awakening. There were 7,000 screws and 40,000 other parts! Oh my! Over the weekend we had our annual Vehicle Safety and Shredding Day. It was a total success! The cars lined up to get safety checks, you dropped of loads of documents to be shredded along with lots of electronics to be recycled. It was great to be at a station event.
