Thank You, Garth!

Written by
Garth Brooks did it again. He brought that electric feeling to town! And, during a time when we are all feeling something we have never felt or experienced before. Of course Garth did! Saturday night saw Garth Brooks bring his Drive-In show to about 300 drive-in theaters in the US and Canada. We can't go see concerts in person, but he figured out a way to do it in a big way and do it…

Sometimes it is nice to getaway. You need to relax and recharge. That is exactly what I did this past weekend. Me, the Warren, my sister and brother-in-law had plans to travel to Nashville last month- COVID had other plans. We decided to find an Air BNB on Lake Erie for a weekend away instead for some social distancing and fun. My sister found this lovely house right on the water with a dock that…

Must Try These Cheerios!

Written by
True story- I honestly have not had a bowl of cereal in about 2 years. Sure a handful of cereal here and there, yes. A bowl of cereal with milk- nope! So enter the Warren telling me about Cheerios having this new cereal called Oat Crunch. They come in Oat and Honey and Cinnamon flavors. We got both. I tried the Cinnamon flavor last night- in a bowl with milk. I had two bowls and…
I had a lovely weekend spending time in the East Bank of the Flats. We went for an early dinner at Lindey's Lake House. Saturday was Rose' Day, so I had a glass- naturally and then our server recommended the Chilean Sea Bass. Oh my goodness- I was delicious. As in, I can't wait to go back and get it again! I highly recommend it as well. The views are worth a trip as well.…

Written by
Chuck E. Cheese is on the verge of going bankrupt due to the pandemic- like many other businesses. They are $1 billion in debt and trying to get a loan from lenders to stay open. They have over 600 stores in 47 states. They like many franchises right now, they are struggling. I loved this place when I was growing up, and with the ball pits, and skee ball and such close quarters- I get…
