Garth Brooks is Everything!

Written by
Garth Brooks is everything. He is a true entertainer. A showman. A really nice guy. More than 75,000 people showed up to see him in Pittsburgh on Saturday night. The sold out show made history. He told the crowd it was not only the largest event of any type- sporting event, game, concert in the history of stadium, but it became the biggest ticketed event in the city’s history.   I was lucky enough to attend the…

Work Out Anywhere!

Written by
I try to make it to the gym 5 days a week. When the weather warms up, I get outside for my run/walks. I love being outside. Now, there are some days when my schedule just does not allow me to do either. Guilt is a powerful thing- ha! I started looking for workouts I could do at home with free weights or just by myself. I found this one on Kelsea Ballerini’s IG story!…

It is low carb, but it looked so good. Trust me folks, I am sick of thinks made of cauliflower and I looking for any and all ideas to say on the straight and narrow, while still being satisfied. I must…

I had the biggest craving for Cabbage and Noodles with Kielbasa, so yesterday I went for it. With some advice from my friends, some trial and error, a dash of guessing- it all turned out so good! I cut up one head of cabbage, some onions, put in a half a stick of butter, some garlic powder, salt and pepper and let it cook. Then I added my kielbasa, more butter and then egg noodles…

Luke Combs released his 6th single ‘Beer Never Broke My Heart’ on Wednesday. If you have seen him in concert, you’ve heard it. He is poised to make history again as the first country act to ever have their first 6 debut singles go #1- should this tune hit the top of the charts. It is another great tune. His career has taken off so fast it is certainly impressive. The second leg of his…

New, Fun Traditions for Mother's Day

Written by
Seeing mom happy on Mother's Day is the goal. Today on the Morning Show we asked- mom, what do you REALLY want for Mother's Day??!! The overwhelming response was time by themselves, for their kids to not argue and a spa day! Mom wants some pampering and not to cook either- ha! Here is a small list of some things you can do with mom that could be interesting and maybe a way to start…
Mother’s Day is Sunday and I am so blessed to say my mom is my best friend. She is so special to me. She is my go to for all advice on all things because she knows everything. She could be a doctor, a psychologist, an interior design, a personal shopper, you name it- my mom knows something on the subject or will learn in mere minutes. She is funny, loving and the most giving…

Thank you, TEACHERS!

Written by
Today is Teacher Appreciation Day and this week is also Teacher Appreciation Week. It got me to thinking about some of my favorite teachers, and there are many. One sticks out. Mrs. Mathues, my 3rd grade teacher from Hartville Elementary. She got me to like going to school. Up to that point, I was not so sure about it. Ha! She made learning cursive and multiplication so fun. We did so many crafts, made landfills out…
