Chase Rice shared on Instagram why he’s pressing pause on touring after more than a decade on the road. He said exhaustion has made it difficult to fully enjoy being on stage and reconnect with the reasons he got into music in the first place: living life, hearing stories and turning real experiences into songs.

He said this decision wasn’t planned, but is something he knew he had to do for himself.
