I took advantage of the nice weather Tuesday afternoon and cut the grass for the first time this season.

My yard needed it. In some places it was getting kind of unsightly, while in other places it was still acceptable. However looking at the forecast I wanted to get it done before Friday when we are supposed to have our next good chance of rain. If I waited until after then I would be in trouble.

At the same time, I ran out the rest of the gas that was left over in my snow blower – which I used ONCE this winter. I have had the snow blower for I believe three years now and have needed to use it ONCE! In a way that is a good thing, though. It was a noisy afternoon at my house for sure!
