For anyone who has lived in Summit County (or even Stark County) for any amount of time, you remember Parasson’s Italian Restaurant. I grew up in Stow and my family ate dinner there all the time in the 90s.

Then as Covid hit in 2020, the locations that were left became take out only. Sadly only one location was able to reopen and luckily the dining room is open again as well. It is the location on Waterloo Rd in Akron at the intersection of Arlington St.

I decided to take a trip down on Sunday with my mom and had lunch there. It took me back to my childhood in the 90s. While I have been going my entire life, it felt more like it did when I was younger. If you get a craving for some local Italian food, give them a try again!
