What is Your Concert Number?

True story: someone asked me last year at this time- how many concerts did you go to this year? I had no idea! I mean, I knew a bunch, but no actual clue. Even in all my years in this business, I have never kept track. So, challenge accepted! I attended 53 concerts this year (or concert like events- for example the CMAs. That is considered a concert to me! And, I consider each day of a festival one concert.) Here they all are and some of my favorite highlights!

13- Chayce Beckham & Zach Top Charity Show, Dusty 3/28 – the night of this show was also the night Chayce’s song ’23’ went #1! It was magical!

15- Jordan Davis, M10, Ashley Cooke, Covelli Centre 4/19

16- Tim McGraw and Carly Pearce, PPG Paints Arena 4/27 – I have seen plenty of Tim shows, but this time around, this tour was one of, if not his best! The stage and production was incredible!!!

17- Corey Kent & HunterGirl Think Pink Charity Show, Knight Stage 5/13

18- Chris Stapleton, Blossom 5/31 – even though he did not sing ‘White Horse,’ and I am still bitter!!!! This was a fantastic show. He is a true musician and vocalist and the chemistry with his wife on stage is worth half the price of the ticket!!!!

21- TCF Day 1 Chase Matthew and Chris Janson 6/12 – Chase is a treasure, a true delight! I have been loving him for some time, and he opened The Country Fest this year and I was so excited! He killed it! Someone told me it was like I was a proud mom. WOAH! Let’s back up a bit there. In this case, I am the proud fun aunt!

22- TCF Day 2 Thomas Mac, Nate Smith, Dylan Scott, Lainey Wilson 6/13

23- TCF Day 3 Dillon Carmichael, Priscilla Block, Justin Moore, Cody Johnson 6/14 – WQMX loves Justin Moore! He is so sweet and the crowd loved him! LOVED!

24- TCF Day 4 Rhett Akins, Conner Smith, Riley Green, Thomas Rhett 6/15

25- Luke Bryan, Vincent Mason, Dillion Carmichael and Alana Springsteen, Blossom 7/12

26- Sam Hunt, Russell Dickerson and George Birge, Blossom 7/19 – Sam Hunt puts on one of the best shows ever! They are upbeat, energetic and fun! Then you add Russell Dickerson as an opener- I never stopped dancing and moving and singing!!!!!!!

30- Neon Nights Day 1 Darryl Worley, Pam Tillis, Trace Adkins and Brad Paisley 8/9

31- Neon Nights Day 2- BlackHawk, Outlaws, ZZ Top and Lynyrd Synyrd 8/10 – BlackHawk was my very first concert in 1998! I was so excited to see them again and they did not let me down. I sang my face off and they were so kind!

37- Kelsey Hart, WQMX Charity Show BB, the Dusty 9/19

40- Post Malone, Blossom 10/1 – Posty went country! This show was all the things! It was all over the place and I loved it! HA!

44- Chris Young and Chris Lane, Bosom Buddies, Akron Civic Theatre 10/15 – This year was WQMX’s Bosom Buddis 25th year and we went big with two fan favorites- the Chrises! It was a great match and we made a ton of money for charity!

45- SUGARLAND, Nationwide Arena 10/26 – BOTH SUGARLAND SHOWS will obviously go down as the favorite shows of the year! It was so good to see the sugars back together! I love, love, love them!
