It is Wrasslin’ Wednesday on Thursday and the reason why it is late… I think a few of these matches are too tight to call. I kept going back-and-forth.
WrestleMania 41 is this Saturday and Sunday Night from Las Vegas! All your favorite WWE Superstars are looking for their WrestleMania Moments! WM41 is on Peacock at (4pm Eastern Pre-Show) 7 p.m. ET…
Saturday Night 1
World Heavyweight Championship Match: Jey Uso vs. Gunther (c)
This one has YEET written all over it. Jey is more than a catchphrase. No one is hotter than these two superstars. Uso the Royal Rumble Winner will try to overthrow the Ring General Gunther. Adding to the vendetta Gunther bloodying Jey’s Brother Jimmy… I think USO takes gold on this one.
World Tag Team Championship Match: The War Raiders (c) vs. The New Day
This is possibly the worst match of the night. How many times have we watched these guys go at it? I think The New Day gets the win…
Jade Cargill vs. Naomi
This one has revenge all over it. Jade wants to even the score from Naomi taking her out. Naomi tasted gold when she sidelined Cargill. This one is the first non-title one-on-one match between two women since 2006 at Mania. I think Naomi has been a great heel and could take win. Cargill will get the 1-2-3 and her revenge to set-up a new story!
Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano
Americano really struck a nerve with Mysterio and LWO. I think Mysterio will unmask El Grande Americano and we will see his true persona. I am sure there will be guests for this one and also plenty of out of ring action. Hopefully this puts an end to the rivalry between American Made and LWO that is pretty crispy.
United States Championship Match: LA Knight (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
LA Knight should win in my opinion but let’s face it the Samoan Werewolf needs to start stacking wins or he is going to lose his tough crazy persona they have been trying to build… I think Fatu pulls the Title and will probably have some help from the Bloodline…
WWE Women’s Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
So bringing the real life side promos into this one has really added gasoline to the fired up competitors. Tiffany Stratton would really push her stardom with this win. It would stall or at least put a speed bump on her road to comeback. The match has the possibility of being the match of the night. Both women are very athletic and true superstars in the women’s brand… I think Flair will be Woo-ing at the end. Although I think it should really be Tiffy-Time all the Time… Either way this one could be the one to watch.
Triple Threat Match: CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins
This one has many layers and the bad blood and favors all run thru PAULLL HEYMANNN….Needless to say Punk and Rollins have been at each other’s throats. Heyman will accompany Punk to the ring. Rollins and Reigns beef goes back to the shield in 2014… Punk’s first WM Main Event would be a good place to get a win. Roman Reigns doesn’t feel right winning and his return to the OTC has a great story line on the horizon. Rollins has played both sides of the squabble perfectly being and heel one week and a hero the next. He is also has a favor to cash in now too. There is a turn somewhere in here and would look to another Heyman managed wrestler to maybe make an appearance.
Sunday Night 2
Triple Threat Match for the Women’s World Championship: Rhea Ripley vs. Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bianca Belair
Get tuned in on time for this one. These 3 have gone from besties to pure hatred. 3 of the best of all time in the women’s brand. Iyo Sky hasn’t held the belt very long but Rhea and Bianca seem to be bigger players for that title. Iyo will put up a fight and make some noise. Bianca is showing more fight these days she is 4-0 at Mania and could push her undefeated streak higher. The Eradicator or Mami is always on top. This has potential for match of the night or even Mania as a whole with these 3’s dedication. Rhea wins but look for these 3 to be at eachother’s throats no matter who wins.
World Tag Team Fatal 4-Way for the Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker (c) vs. Penta vs. Finn Bálor vs. Dominik Mysterio
Bron has been dominant, Penta a breakout star so far, the true test might be the bad blood inside the Bloodline. Bron wins and retains the IC Championship.
AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul
After hitting the Paul-veriser on Raw… Styles has to be chomping at the bit for revenge. The Phenomenal One might be athletically gifted but so is Logan. Styles will put up a fight in Vegas but seems like Logan Paul is getting pushed to stardom. This one could have big risk, big reward factors in Vegas!
Sin City Street Fight: Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre
This one still has the stench of Damian cashing in Money In The Bank last year and ruining Drew’s Championship. Ever since Damian has been the arrow in Drew’s side keeping him from gold. I think Drew McIntyre wins and keeps ascending the ranks.
Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Bayley and Lyra Valkyria vs. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez (c)
Valkyria and Bailey are too fresh off a singles feud. The Judgement Day get a victory and retains! Simple fact we do not need another singles tag team especially one with a singles champion on it.
Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. John Cena
After finishing his story last year The American Nightmare returns to defend his title against John Cena. The coveted belt is all that John Cena is fixated on. This win would tie him with greatness as a 17-Time Champion.
The Rock will have a hand in on this one or will have someone doing his dirty work. The Heel Turn was not done just to tarnish Cena’s Stellar Career and turn his back on the fans. There will be a messed up finish but Cena scores the win in my eyes. There will be a guest with Cody (Stone Cold, Edge, Randy Orton) not quite sure and I would not rule out a Double Heel Turn for Cena to stir the waters with The Rock. Gonna be a memorable one I am sure.
I am sure there will be guests, returns, surprises left and right. Also Randy Orton you think he would get a match or at least be part of Mania.
