It’s much higher on this list as this was a massive hit, and very impactful on millions of fans for many reasons. This song was written as a continuance to Reba’s 1986 smash hit, Whoever’s In New England. In addition to being a great written song, it was delivered incredibly well from Jennifer Nettles, it moved many to tears including her on the moving video. The video was also a large part of this songs incredible success. Somehow this was not a #1, as it stalled at #2, but not to worry, this is one of the most decorated songs of the 21st century so far, winning 3 Grammy’s, and was the ACM Single and Song Of The Year, the CMA Song Of The Year and the CMT Video Of The Year. It’s one of the most loved and most powerful country songs of the new century.
