Songs don’t get much bigger, more popular, sell more and are sung back to the artist on stage more than this gem. Darius Rucker struck gold, or actually many times Platinum with this remarkable old song written by Bob Dylan in 1973. Dylan recorded ONLY the chorus then, and the verses added many years later. Regardless, Rucker put this on his True Believers album and this became a monster hit very quickly. This makes you feel good, makes you happy and he was the perfect artist to take this to the heights it deserved. It was a big number one and was only knocked out by FGL’s Cruise which would spend the next 20 weeks there. It’s a Grammy winner and was nominated for the CMA and ACM Single Of The Year. I love every note of this incredible hit song by one of our very best vocalists.
