Johnny And June – Heidi Newfield – 2008 – (Album – What Am I Waiting For)
This is a great example of a song that was way more popular with fans as opposed to the biz and the charts. Heidi Newfield was the former lead singer of Trick Pony that had a few hits, and this was her biggest success after leaving the group. This song only went to #11 on the charts, but listeners loved this song with real passion. We got a ton of requests for this at the time, as it speaks to many in many ways. Great old song, sadly never really getting the credit it deserved.
