You’re So Good When You’re Bad  – Charley Pride  – 1982 

Charley Pride is an older school artist who had an amazing voice and a line of 40 #1 country songs.  Pride passed away a few years ago, but what is undeniable was his charting success over 25 years.  Great talent, great ambassador for us and of course an amazing groundbreaking performer for us.  This was from the early 80’s and was a big #1 hit, that listeners loved.  It made its way to the big TV comedy, Designing Women in a very memorable episode, and got a boost in pop culture from there.  This has the signature early 80’s pop country sound, which was perfect for Pride, as he and voice adapted to be one of the most versatile we have ever had.  What a song, no matter what kind of music you call your favorite.
