Please Remember Me – Tim McGraw – 1999 (Album – A Place In The Sun)
Yes, even superstars like Tim McGraw can from time to time end up in the Forgotten Jukebox. There are some stars that are s0 big, we sometimes forget some of their really great songs. In 1999, McGraw was really rolling and this song was one of the reasons why. This was a 5-week #1, and a very powerful song. This album too was a huge success. Written by a great song writer, Rodney Crowell who had a few big songs of his own. HE recorded this in 1995 on his album, Jewel Of The South, and it went to #69 on the charts. This then for McGraw became one of his biggest charting songs of his incredible career. Sung with passion and energy plus a terrific arrangement, this became a real favorite selling over a million.
