Thinkin’ About You – Trisha Yearwood – 1995 (Album- Thinkin” About You)
Trisha Yearwood is a first class vocalist and still a fan favorite. This was a two week #1 and to me, the best song of her career. This song has an all star list of Nashville’s best musicians playing on it, including the great Lee Roy Parnell on guitar, and the late Lari White singing backup. Every time I hear this song, it makes me feel good. I mean who wouldn’t want to hear these words from someone you really love or are falling in love with. She always delivers songs with such purity and confidence, it’s hard not to get drawn in. This song has a real nice vibe and a calming feel to it. It was her third #1 song, and one I could listen to over and over again. She is among the best vocalists we have ever had and yes, I would pay to hear her sing anytime. And yes again, there are times I miss songs like this.
