Storm Warning – Hunter Hayes – 2011 – (Album – Hunter Hayes)
This was the debut song of a true prodigy, Hunter Hayes at the age of 19. We did a charity show with him as this was released, and he wasn’t even old enough to get into the venue he was playing. Hayes plays a ton of instruments, and is incredibly talented. On this first album, he played all instruments. This is real catchy, and has the fusion of country and pop. It zings along at a great pace with its infectious melody and inventive story line. This was only a #14 hit, but in the years to come, Wanted and Somebody’s Heartbreak each went number one. But in the long run, Hunter’s run on the chart was short, but his fan support wasn’t. They loved him and made this debut album a million seller.
