H.O.L.Y – Florida Georgia Line – 2016 (Album – Dig Your Roots)
I always liked this song, as I felt it was really “them”. This was different for FGL and I liked that too. This is a bit more real and focused and showed some nice versatility. It also put on display a real heart and I think at that moment that was important for them. High On Loving You. Holy is just a great song, and it’s good to hear it again here. They’ve certainly got their detractors, but this song by sheer numbers is one of their biggest songs, going #1 and 6X Platinum. That’s rare air. It’s one of my favs from them. Also hard to think it’s almost 10 years old.
