Stuck On You – Lionel Ritchie – 1984 – (Album – Can’t Slow Down)
This was a song for the era in country. Lionel Ritchie had just released his second solo album, and this was on it. Ritchie, an incredible song writer had a few years earlier penned Lady, a gigantic country hit for Kenny Rogers. He would later find the top ten in 1986 with Alabama with Deep River Woman. We were very pop country at this time, and this song fit right in. It went to #24 on the charts as some stations did not play it. But I was at WRMZ in Columbus a the time and we did, as it fit in to what we were.
