Life does not always work out the way we hope, but sometimes things do go the way you wish.  I love golf, I love traveling, and I love different adventures. Luckily the Beautiful Windy feels the same.

Bucket List Stuff

We were fortunate to be able to attend the practice round of The Masters at Augusta National last week.  We got lucky. You see the only way you can go is to win a lottery at Masters.com.  This is not some huge high roller big money thing.  This year I was lucky and blessed.  Actually I was chosen in 2020, but well, you know….  But that chance was honored this year.  The hard part is simply being lucky.

Tickets are extremely reasonable for the event, in fact they are far less that any of the local sports teams for the most part.  The concessions are ridiculously cheap too.  How about a sandwich for $1.50?  It’s true! The most expensive thing for food is a $5 beer!  Merchandise?  Well, that’s a different story, LOL.  But parking is free and is done incredibly well.

This is a bucket list thing and I’m glad we got to go. This is a place of immense beauty, and tradition, and is a real golfers utopia. Windy had never been there, as for me, it was my second time as my friend Don was lucky and won tickets in 2013 and we went then.
