Keith Urban – Raining On Sunday – 2003 – (Album – Golden Road)
Kind of hard to believe that Keith Urban has been around for close to 25 years, but it’s true. This is very early Urban, and with full disclosure, this is the Urban I like the best by a mile. I love edgy, flaming guitar Urban singing mass appeal songs. I have featured Urban in my Guitarist Series, as he is one of Nashville’s best guitar players. This song was a top five song, and it’s one that doesn’t come to mind at first when you think of his early days. But this incredible song has a bit of everything. Love, romance, and a bit of edge and a terrific guitar finish. This video too was an early launching pad for Urban, as it’s hard to think there was a time he was not very well known. One of his best songs, of his long career that is still going strong today.
