WYNN - Forgotten Jukebox - AT-84

These guys were touted as the "Next big thing".  A huge band with a huge sound, I think 11 members. I liked some of their songs, especially Dixie Dreamin' a top 10 hit as well.   At this time in country, "bands" were not a big deal at all, in fact Alabama was really the only one, and was dominating the format. We were in the middle to end stage to Urban Cowboy and much was being tried.  In fairness, this album was pretty darn good, and this song was the biggest hit from it among the five released.  And being fair again, this song was a top 5 and should've been #1.  Fans loved it, and it was big in the bars and clubs too.  This song was styled after some of Alabama's big songs like Mountain Music, If You're Gonna Play In Texas or Dixieland Delight, with a big build up and strong solo fiddle finish at the end.   Even their logo was patterned similar to Alabama.  This was the pinnacle of their career, as not a lot of success followed.  But this song lives on, if only in the Forgotten Jukebox
