Moral Dilemma Monday, 4/1/9

MDM, 4/1/19

Over the last couple of weeks, I've been hanging out with a close friend's ex-girlfriend, platonically, after we ran into each other at a bar. We have a real connection.

I can't stop thinking about her. I'm kind of smitten. And I know she wants to take it to the next level, too.

The problem is, my friend had a long relationship with this girl, and I think he's still kind of in love with her. So what do I do here? Can I get away with dating my friend's ex?

Moral Dilemma Monday, 3/25/19

MDM:

Joe’s office has an extremely relaxed dress code. He wears hoodies, jeans, even shorts year round to work. His wife on the other hand, her work has a very strict dress code. The problem has now become their 9 year-old son.

He fights every morning for school because he wants to dress like dad and wear tshirts and shorts every day. Joe gets in trouble because he laughs it off and thinks it's slightly funny. The school has noticed his dress attire and said something about wearing shorts during winter months.

His wife thinks he should be setting a better example, but what is a guy to do? #MDM #ScottAndSarah

Pet of the Week

WQMX Country Pet Rescue features adoptable pets looking for their forever home from Pay it Forward for Pets: brought to you by Wilson Plumbing and Heating!

Meet Cheetara...

image2 3

Animal neglect is defined by negligent treatment that threatens the life and well-being of a pet. Based on interpretation, and personal standards, neglect is measured differently among witnesses. Because pets are thinking, breathing and feeling beings, our hope is that the majority of people see them as we do … worthy of love, value and our protection.

117 pound Jaga, and 85 pound Cheetara have been negligently handled. Rescued from the dog park on Memorial Parkway, these two pups were left to find their own way. At, approximately, 3 years old, Jaga remains loyal and loving to his 2 year old partner, Cheetara. Jaga’s friend, Cheetara, still looks to him for direction, and security, everyday. Thought to be Boerbuel, a line from the Mastiff family, these are some extremely kind dogs and just want to please their handler.

It’s apparent that both of these dogs have been treated very well and we’re taken very good care of. It’s also apparent whoever left them behind, could no longer care for them or provide housing. Effort will always need to be made to rehome an existing dog, and there are resources to network with when trying to do so. Leaving them on their own should never be a resort as abandonment is against the law. These two dogs have a great résumé when it comes to disposition, and they love people, too. They’ll just need some room as they are big babies!
