My Top Ten: Cedar Point Rides
It's another Top Ten Thursday, and all through this week on WQMX, we've been giving away pairs of tickets for admission to Cedar Point! You can still get in on that chance to win with Scott and Sarah in the morning and again with Ben McKee in the afternoon through Friday.
With that, let's rank some coasters! As a lifelong Ohioan, I could only guess the number of times I've been up to Sandusky for a day of fun and thrills at one of the greatest amusement parks in the country. Cedar Point is a special place for me and many others- it's an atmosphere like no other. From sunup to sunset, if I'm there, I'm having a good time.
Sure, sometimes the lines are painfully long, or the weather is unfavorable, but the world is off my shoulders once I step through those gates and into that wonderland. So, here's the rides I like most at the park we like best!

Top Thrill 2 Test Ride
No, I did not take a test ride, but there is one on Cedar Point's YouTube channel. Of course I was curious what the test ride looks like so I watched the video and wow. My stomach flip flopped just watching it! I have a feeling, those of you who loved the Top Thrill Dragster are going to really love this one!

The wait is over, Cedar Point finally announced what has become of the Top Thrill Dragster. Meet Top Thrill 2 that will be ready for you to ride in 2024!

Cedar Point plans to work with guests that were turned away
Local Police in Sandusky are saying that the amount of traffic rolling into Cedar Point this past weekend that forced the Park to close its gates and turn away guests on Saturday, was an anomaly.
Cedar Point attests the crowds were likely due to the popularity of the Halloween themed "HalloWeekends" combined with nice weather and perhaps the desire of people to get their hands on the 150th Anniversary Gold Pass.
While they did help some guests find accomodations, as well as recommend that some come back on Sunday, Cedar Point will work, on an individual basis, with other guests that were turned away and will be unable to make it back by this weekend's final days of operation.
