Dierks Bentley has announced his follow up to his most recent #1 single "Gold". Dierks co-wrote "Something Real" with with Luke Dick, Ashley Gorley, HARDY and Ross Copperman in his happy place — in Colorado.
Dierks said in a press release, "I wrote this song out in Colorado where I really go to recharge and get closer to the source that being nature, those mountains and the great outdoors. I never thought it’d be a single really, ‘cause it’s such a personal song talking about how sometimes the things I feel aren’t things that I think would help to sell tickets, or…in that way. It’s more of a personal song, but I found in the past that songs like ‘I Hold On’ that are extremely personal have always been the ones that resonate most with fans.”

Dierks Bentley released his new single "Gold" today, it is the lead track from his upcoming tenth studio album which is set to arrive early next year. His new song is about gratitude, presence and the treasures to be found in the moment that you are in.
“2020 was a chance for me to give my guitar and the road a little rest. It gave me the chance to spend a lot more time adventuring outdoors with family and friends, but also alone. It also gave me time to reset and rekindle my love of Country music and a lot of the types of songs and sounds that I fell in love with when I first got to Nashville,” explained Dierks in a press release. “I think you’ll hear that in this first track, but it carries across the whole album.”
Elle King has released a new song called "Worth A Shot", it's a collaboration with Dierks Bentley. This is the second time they have collaborated together, they previously earned a #1 with "Different For Girls" in 2016. Elle says that this song is about a releationship that is worth working out, and if they can go back to where it started and maybe do that together, they can get back what they feel like they are missing.
