With the concerns of underage vaping growing by the day in NEO, many schools are trying new things to try and curb teens from picking up the habit.
Revere Local School district in Summit County announced that 16 Vape detectors have been installed this year. The Detectors were purchased with grant money and detect chemicals released by vape products and will alert school authorities to the location of use. While these machines do not record audio or video, they will also pick up audio anomalies that could be associated with bullying.
